Receiving art: Tues. April 13th 10am- 2 pm
Private Artist/Purchase Patron Reception: **Friday April 16th 7-9pm**
Public Viewing: April 15-18
Thursday -Saturday 10-6 pm
Sunday 10-4 pm
Art Pick-up: Sun. April 18th 4:30-6 pm
No early removal of artwork!!
There will be a $10 fee per painting per day for
art work that is not picked up by 6:00pm Sunday
The Special Category this year is “Bicycles”…subject can be anything pertaining to cycling. This should be fun, be creative!

Professional (PRO)
Advanced (ADV)
Amateur (AMA)
PRO- artists who pursue their art seriously, exhibit often in shows, and who have won numerous awards
ADV - artists who exhibit in shows, are advancing their skills & who starting to win awards
AMA- artists who are just learning & starting to exhibit in shows & have not won any 1st place awards in AMA class

“Bicycles” Special Category
Art is judged within and by each category not by medium.
Fees and Regulations:
Pre-registration fees are $15 for one entry or $20 for two entries. One painting may also be entered in either “Fruit & Wine Industry” OR “Bicycles” category for an additional $5.00 Bargain Bin work will be pieces under $100, framed or unframed and Bargain Bin work is a flat fee of $6. You may enter up to 6 entries. Attach a label to the backs of Bargain Bin work with name, title, and price on each piece.
There will be a 20% commission on all sales.
All work will be handled with utmost care, and submission of work will automatically waive any claim for damage, loss, or liability against Palisade Art Lovers. Insurance is the artist’s individual responsibility.
Eligibility:
This is a non-juried show. Only original 2-dimensional work not previously shown at a Palisade Art Lovers show may be entered. No class work /workshop work or copied work allowed. Pieces must be framed, ready to hang with wire (NO saw tooth hangers). No wet paintings. Outside dimensions must not exceed 40” in either direction, including frame. ID labels MUST be attached to back of entry in upper corner. All work must be for sale. Early delivery and/or late pick up of art work MUST be pre-arranged. Work left after check out deadline without arrangements WILL be subject to a holding/handling fee of $10/painting per day.
All art work is to be delivered to the Palisade Memorial Building, 2nd floor, 120 E. 8th St.

1st, 2nd, 3rd place and Honorable Mentions ribbons will be given in all categories.
Numerous gift certificates and Special Awards will be donated by various local businesses and art groups.
Judge:
We are honored to have Mary Ellen Andrews as our judge this year. She is a resident of Grand Junction, holds degrees from Northeastern Il University and the CO Institute of Art. She has taught Art in public and private schools in the US and in South America. Additionally, she has worked in the field of commercial design.
Mary Ellen is a signature member of the Western CO Watercolor Society and the Plein Air Artists CO. She is also a member of the "Outsiders", a west-slope group with whom she travels,paints,and exhibits. She is a participant in the Nomades del Artes exhibits. Her work is represented by the Meerdink Gallery , Ouray, CO, the Blue Pig Gallery, Palisade, CO, and Arts At Denver, Denver, CO.
