Please mark your calendar to attend Palisade Art Lovers meetings!!!
We meet the first and third Wednesday of each month at the United Methodist Church, 4th and Main, in Palisade, CO. unless otherwise noted below.
Enter through the south side door, go down stairs.
We meet from 10 am-12 noon
September 7th--first meeting of the season. Collect membership dues, the group will paint of a still life of summer vegetables
September 21st--group paint out on the Grand Mesa with a BBQ, more info to come
October 5th--meet at the church, details to come
October 18th--10:00 AM--group paint out at Connected Lakes, come paint the fall colors!
November 2nd--meet at the church, details to come
November 16th--Renee Herring-- alcohol ink demo at The Artist Haven--details to come
December 7th--meet at "Angelos Paint Your Own Pottery", on Patterson in Grand Junction
December 21st--No meeting due to Christmas holidays
January 4th--PALS holiday luncheon, details to be announced
January 18th--Deborah Robinson--tissue paper art demo and group participation, meeting at The Artist Haven. Supplies provided, but bring your own watercolor paper and wear old clothes or an apron. She will demonstrate her technique for making collages that look like a watercolor painting.
February 1st---- NO MEETING
February 15th--Suki Strong invites you to come and play with your inner child. Make a playful crayon batik on paper, great for collage, decoupage or just plain fun. All seriousness aside for the day....lets learn a new and fun technique with no expectations but a fun play date together. Group participation, at The Artist Haven. Contact PALS for materials list.
March 7th--meet at the church, details to be announced
March 21st--demo to be announced
April 18th--meet at the church, details to be announced
April 10-15th-- Palisade Art Lovers Peach Blossom Art Show
May 2nd--meet at the church, details to be announced
May 16th--Field trip to Cindy Brabec-King's studio for a demo, paint out, and a potluck lunch. Details to come.
